FAA grounds Virgin Galactic space flights during anomaly investigation (updated)

Virgin Galactic has a very bad day. Reuters reported the administration of federal flights had forbid virgins from the spacecraft while the agency investigated anomalies in the Spaceflight descendants of Richard Branson. Regulators want to ensure “accidents” that lead to aircraft deviations from the cleaned route will not hurt public safety. Officials do not estimate when Virgin can continue the flight.

We have asked for comments. Space tourism companies previously admitted that the flight was dead-course, dipping under the air space that was intended for one minute and 41 seconds. However, it is also maintained that it does not fly outside the “lateral limit” of the airspace permitted.

This comes at a unfortunate time for virgins. The company has just announced the first flight to bring commercial research, with a maturity launch at the end of September or early October – the schedule might hesitate whether the FAA probe lasts long enough or encourages significant changes to the plan. It can also add another delay to flight tourists First Virgin, is now scheduled for early 2022. It concerns companies that say cash and may not produce profits to bring passengers.
