Apex Bike review

Two minutes

Indoor cycling at home has never been more popular, and Apex Bike offers excellent middle-of-the-range products in terms of prices. Apex has designed a bold and aesthetic bicycle that is not prominent like a thumb that is sick if used in the living room of the house.

The ride experience is very smooth and directly after you adjust the handlebars and saddles. You also have the option to attach spinning shoes to the pedal, or use ordinary running shoes that easily slide into the buckle strap.

What a bicycle does not own an interactive screen so before you start, you need to download the Apex Rides application to your cellphone or tablet to access the vehicle.

Class – delivered by the boom cycle – very good. If, like us, you find a peloton coach who is too enthusiastic about the nerves, you will find a much more fun peak. In fact, various energetic and pleasant teachers are very refreshing, such as the classes, which are some of the best we have ever done.

However, without default appearance, APEX does not have a deep fitness experience of other upscale brands, and does not perform too well using your cellphone. Our advice is to connect it to the tablet, or attach to your TV to provide a better user experience. Either way, you still get output, statistics and character resistance available for views.

We also found a flywheel behind a bicycle providing perfect resistance training. From fast spinning at the lowest level to not be able to change the pedal with the resistance contacted to Max, it provides a perfect balance. It’s also very quiet, even when spinning at full speed.

There are hundreds of classes to choose from, depending on your level of expertise. We are not disappointed with one class, and the production level is very high, you feel as if your coach is sitting right in front of you. They do a good job to explain what you need to do during class and provide the motivation needed.

We usually will not comment on the water bottle holder, but we really like the design of the apex bike – even the way it integrates drinks holder and smart phone holder. The addition of cradle wireless charging for your mobile device is impressive.

Price and release date

The apex bike was launched in July 2020 and is available for purchased from Apex Rides for £ 1,200 (around $ 1,700 / au $ 2,200).

Design

Apex is a spinning bike that is more demanded on the market, without doubt. This is far greater than the others we have used and have been designed to look attractive even when not in use.

Although quite heavy (solid frame weighing more than 41kg) we found Apex easily moving thanks to a pair of wheels installed in front. Measuring 120 x 160 x 117cm, quite compact for small houses in fact, and the default tray in front (to balance your iPad), water bottle holders and telephone charging holder make the best use of the room.

Stand-out motor features so far are minimal and efficient designs. Unlike other smart bikes, there is nothing big or rude about the peak, which engineers want the design and appearance of bicycles to blend and supplement the furniture in a modern house, they certainly reach this, and that fact comes in four colors. Black, white navy and sand) means you can choose a shade that blends with your decoration.
