We can see the TV API models of Amazon-brand (or several models) in the US at the beginning of next month, according to new reports. The alleged Amazon plan to offer a smart TV that runs the TV API platform under its own brand has been rumored for a while now, with sources claiming the project has been in the pipeline for several years. Even though it won’t be the first time Amazon launched its own TV, it would be the first for the US market.
The leak comes from a source of talking to people in business, which claims that the TV API AMAZON TV plan is set back at a certain point by “logistics obstacles.” Regardless of, we can see these TVs – it may be sold under the ‘Amazonbasics’ brand – arriving in October, joining existing smart TVs sold by other brands running TV Fire.
The report claims that TCL is one of the third-party manufacturers who will produce API TV branded AMAZON. These models will join companies such as Westinghouse who have offered smart TVs loaded with software, but it does not have the Amazon brand. Assuming the leakage is accurate, Amazon TV can be offered in various sizes ranging from 55 to 75 inches.
People continue to claim that Amazon also developed its own smart TV that has the potential to be sold with TV API; Whether this in-house television model will be distinguished from those made by third party companies it is unclear. Users can expect the same TV fire experience as they get from the API Mandiri Amazon TV box, cubes and sticks.
The report does not include mentioning prices, but if the existing third party option is an indication, Amazon branded smart TV is likely to lean towards the final budget. The price points will complete the Amazon to compete with Roku, which also offers a variety of smart TVs loaded with Roku OS software.
