Alexa will now speak louder if it detects a lot of background noise

 Amazon has launched a new feature for Alexa which can ensure you hear what the assistant assistant is said even when TV is active or while people speak. According to the threshold, a new feature called adaptive volume will make Alexa speak harder if it detects many ambient sounds. The aim, the company told this publication, for you to be able to hear the response of the sound assistant for noise in your home or office. However, if you are outside the US, you will not be able to try it. Just now – the threshold said it was only available for US customers at this time.

Alexa responded with a voice that was harder than usual, but another time answered with the usual volume. Maybe the company still adjusts features before making it available in other areas. Verge also notes that Amazon does not say whether adaptive volume can also make voice assistants respond with a quieter voice if it detects almost no ambient sound. Alexa has long had “whispering mode,” however, which can make it respond with a softer voice when you whisper the command for it.
