Perhaps the most important thing that needs to be known by most buyers is that the “launch” edition of the Horizon standard prohibits the West, whether you buy a physical or digital copy, it will only work on one console. Even though the game is being released for PS4 and PS5, you must choose which console you want and stick with it; There is no ability to update later. This is actually contrary to what Sony said when PS5 was officially valued and given the release date last year: Sony’s own blog post clearly states that some PS5 games, including Horizon Forbus West, will also be released on the PS4 with a free upgrade to the PS5 version.
Like most AAA games today, the PS4 version is worth $ 60 and PS5 $ 70. There is also a special edition of Steel’s book version for both consoles which also includes a mini art book and a Digital Soundtrack copy for more than $ 10.
If you are really not sure which console will be purchased, there is a Deluxe digital edition that might be the way to go. For $ 80 (equal to the steel version of PS5), you will get the game on PS4 and PS5. It is also equipped with a number of digital items including art books, soundtracks, digital comics and several game underwear and items. One unlocked key that we have never heard before is for photo game mode; You will unlock special facial paint and unique poses for Aloy.
As with other popular AAA titles, there are several fancy and expensive editions for hardcore fans (such as this postwriter). The highlight of the $ 200 collector edition was a tremortusk enemy statue which seemed to be large next to the aloy statue which was much smaller. It also includes a physical art book and the same display of Steel books with special editions, plus all digital teeth that are included with the Deluxe edition.

It also includes two artwork cards, replica of Focus Aloy, a canvas map, and two replicas of the “strike” pieces of the game. These two massive editions come with games for PS4 and PS5 – but, they don’t enter the game on the disk. Instead, you will receive a download card. It makes some sense levels, given that Sony now sells PS5 without a disk drive, but it is clearly a bum for people who don’t want to wait for what will definitely be a big game download.

Let’s make it simple: If you want the PS4 and PS5 version, you have to spend $ 80 on a Digital Deluxe edition, which is not a bad idea considering you get two versions of the game plus a group of digital items just 10 dollars more than the standard PS5 edition. Another option is to buy an expensive edition of the Collector or Regalla. But if you are ready to buy a disk, you must remain with whatever console you choose when you buy it, because there are no plans to offer an upgrade path to PS5.
