SpaceX says Amazon is trying to delay Starlink because it can't compete

Spacex does not shoot any punch in his response to the latest Amazon display tactics. Yesterday, Spacex told FCC that Amazon deliberately tries to delay the proposals from its StarLink Satellite Internet Service. The reason? Amazon still can not compete with its own satellite solution, Kuiper Systems, ARS Technica Reports. It would not be a first for Amazon, of course: a similar complaint led NASA to put on hold the Lunar Lander Lunar Spacex contract.

“Unfortunately, the recent Missive of Amazon unfortunately has only the last years in his ongoing efforts to slow down competition, while neglecting to resolve the concerns of the Commission concerning the satellite system of the nongar orbit of Amazon ( “NGSO”), said Spacex in his FCC deposit. “The Commission should see through these efforts and quickly put the demand for Spacex to comment on the public where any problem can be fully verified.”

Amazon last week urged the FCC to reject Spacex’s proposal in StarLink, claiming that it broke the rules ofthe Agency by offering two distinct configurations for its satellite Internet. Starlink draws back, claiming that Amazon has still not told the FCC how it would avoid interfering with other services or how it would follow rules around orbital debris.

“But while Amazon has not tabled anything with the Commission to respond to these terms of its own license for nearly 400 days, it only took 4 days to oppose the NGSO new generation spacex system”, wrote Spacex. The company noted that Amazon did not have a single meeting this year with the FCC to respond to its complaints, and it still has not escaped details for its satellite system.
