Of course, we know the opening of the iPhone 13 is in the corner. And yes, the iPhone 13 certainly looks like it will be an interesting upgrade. But the reality is that the iPhone 13 will not be much different from the iPhone 12. Of course, the iPhone 13 will be faster and has better camera technology than its predecessor. And yes, the notch on the iPhone 13 is a little smaller. But still, the iPhone 13 will be more than evolution than the revolutionary increase.
With that, sometimes fun imagining what the iPhone model is in the future. And with rumors circling that Apple has contracted the folded iphone model, the concept of this video from the Flip iPhone is worth sharing.
What flip iPhone is like
Video Concept Posted to Conceptics YouTube Channel earlier this week. The iPhone flip concept looks a little similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z flip design 3. And after using the previous Flip Z, I enjoy more user experience than I expected. Interestingly, the concept video shows the iPhone flip with the Face ID and touch ID sensor built under the screen. In particular, Apple is reported to work on this type of touch ID functionality, but it still has to be seen if the feature will see the daylight.
Now some features in the video below are a little out there, with air fees into one example like that. But hey, this is a video concept on futuristic technology, so we might also keep the mind open and enjoy the trip.
Is the iPhone that can be folded is actually a possibility?
Believe it or not, the idea of the iPhone that can be folded is not everything weird. For starters, Samsung has shown that there is a market, however it is small, for the device. What’s more, we have seen several reports pointing to Apple research in the area. Furthermore, Apple has submitted a patent with respect to folded iPhone technology.
If Apple has released a flip iPhone, the reality might not look like a device in the video above. According to Leaker Jon Proser is recorded, the design of the Apple iPhone that can be folded will boast “two separatedisplay panels on the hinges” and “round, stainless steel edges” similar to the iPhone 11 design.
“The meme is funny,” added the Proser at the end of 2020. “But it seems they just calm two cellphones. Even though they are two separate panels, when the display is extended, it looks quite continuous and smooth.”
More precisely, the Apple folding iPhone will be folded vertically as opposed to horizontally.
You might also remember the report from last year who claimed that Apple ordered several folding display prototypes from Samsung. And while there are no Apple products that have been officially announced on stage, Ming-chi Kuo analyst – who has a solid trace record in connection with Apple rumors – believe we might see an iPhone flip style device in 2023. The timeline seems to be ambitious. For me, but I definitely want wrong.
