Apple may be announced to announce their latest MacBook Pro model that displays an enhanced Apple M1x chip and mini LED backlight in early October.
The report first appeared in digitimes, indicating that the shortage of the ongoing chip had pushed back the September launch to be at least October and maybe even November.
We have expected 16-inch MacBook Pro Beefier since the launch of the 13-inch MacBook Pro (M1) back in November last year, and is widely expected Apple will introduce a stronger M1X chip with a 16-inch MacBook Pro because it will need more power than M1 chip that can be provided.
There are also questions about the 14-inch MacBook Pro, as a note of 9to5mac. There are many buzz about 14-inch Apple laptops as an upgrade from a 13-inch model or a completely new entry in addition to the size available today. If we get the announcement of the 14-inch MacBook Pro, we will be interested in seeing whether it’s a stronger Apple M1 or Apple M1x chip.
Analysis: Delaying a month is not bad in the context of global chip deficiency
With a shortage of chips that are ongoing everyone from carmakers to electronic producers to PC manufacturers, you should expect some product delays.
Both AMD and Nvidia slowly slid the new graphics card but getting actual products to the hands of gamers has become a monumental challenge. There was even talk that Intel might postpone the parts of the launch of Lake Alder to CES 2022 concerns about chip supplies.
So, if it turns out that Apple has to push back the September launch window that is typical for the new MacBooks until October or November, it barely delayed at all, so we really hope this turns out.
We really want to see what Apple has for the next generation of Apple Silicon, and the faster the better as far as we know.
